Another image from yesterday morning.  This branch was far enough into the tree so that it didn't have snow accumulation, though you can see a little bit in the background.

7Dii, Sigma 150-600 C @ 546 mm, Jobu Gimbal mounted to blind window, f/8, 1/50, iso 2000, aperture priority, pattern metering, -2/3 EV.  Processed in LR & PS CC.  Cropped to 11.6 MP.  Taken yesterday at 8:36 am.

Your comments and critiques are really appreciated.

Thanks,

Love that look it gave you Dennis. This is a very nice intimate setting with really nice lighting and a great gradually fading BG of the pine tree.

Nice capture Dennis.  Good job capturing the little fella. Great BG.  Would take out the white area under his rear.  Somewhat distracting.  Keep up the good work!

This is a feeling of being quite natural without an artificial perch.  Nice pose and well composed.  Good color and detail.

Nice detail in this little cutie, and I like the look he is giving you.  I agree with the suggestion to clone or darken that light spot under his rear.  This feels like a lovely Christmas card.
