I really love this image. The perch and background are wonderful. The sharpness in the larger image is absolutely great. My only nit, other than the fact that I didn't take it, is that it is a bit dark. I hope you don't mind, but I imported the image into LightZone and use the "relight" feature to bring out some of the shadows. See what you think.

You hit it out of the ballpark on this one, Ken.

Beautiful image, Ken. The first time I've seen a juvenile posted, I think. The detail is exquisite and you had a beautiful perch to boot. I'm not familiar with the actual coloration, but I'll admit that Jerry's version looks even better.

I am not familiar with this bird, but boy, you sure did a wonderful job capturing it. The details in those feathers are spot on, that perch is so natural, and the background is so smooth and complimentary to the subject. Perfect!

Beautiful subtle colors and great detail Ken. Nice perch and sweet, smooth BG. I really like this. I would suggest a bit more room at the bottom if you had/have it without a lot of other stuff there. I do like Jerry's version a lot too.
