#827 Sable staying warm.

Or at least half of her.  We had a somewhat extended power outage in January of 2012 and used a kerosene heater to keep the chill out of the house (works well and we have more than adequate ventilation).  I put it on a rolling platform for ease of moving around as the wick smokes a bit when it's turned off, so I put it on the porch.  Sable figured that if it was that warm beside it, it must be even warmer underneath.

Grab shot with an old 20D kit lens, saved as JPG.  Processed and cropped yesterday in LR & PS CC.  I didn't correct the color balance because it fit with the "warm" theme.

Thanks for looking,

Looks like Sable is a mechanic rather than just warming herself. I like that you did not correct the color balance because it is already correct for the scene.

Great for a grin as well as a fine sense of warmth, Dennis.  A good looking and fun shot.  Maybe she's under there trying to turn it up a bit???

Nice capture of the moment, Dennis.  Seems like our pets always seek out the heat source.
