Down Coats Are The Best!

<div>Piloerection in birds was obviously the inspiration for down coats.  Hey, if it keeps the birds warm, why not steal the idea -- and the feathers -- to keep humans warm?
</div> <div>I was not around for the last WP (Winter Bird Portraits), but I think this a shot that would fit in either that one or this one, since it is "someone very bundled up."  This Tufted Titmouse looks pretty "bundled up" to me. :-)</div> <div>

Sweet image!
Love the puffy bird, fine detail, and snowflakes.

Wayne, I agree, great capture of the titmouse in his downy coat.  I like the colors too! He looks peaceful and warm.

A great image of this beautiful little bird, Wayne.  Excellent detail in the feathers.  The snowflakes add to the scene.

Wayne, a great look at this Titmouse staying warm.  The details in the bird and it's perch are terrific.  The flying snowflakes and the background colors add very well.
