Shade of the Old Oak Tree - during my photographic study of the 200 year old building by the ocean. I tried to straighten angles out horizontal and vertical. I used two different cameras and came to the conclusion that crooked and warped wood led to the vertical and horizontal distortion but I did like the shadow of the old oak tree and the blue reflections in the window panes and how the board are falling and many different shades in the weathered wood.  I don't like the angle.

I also enjoy shooting old buildings. I have found that it is very hard to get everything square and straight in the images of old building. There is enough in this image that makes it very interesting. You mentioned many of them in your post. I like the image. My eye wants to wonder around the image and find the different shapes and textures.
