When I went out to catch sunrise at this Adirondack pond it was 28 degrees F -- just cold enough to freeze some fog on the vegetation.  I tried to capture the contrast between the cold pre-dawn shadows and the sunrise light on the mountains.  This is part of a 15-frame panorama.  I had such a hard time deciding which crops I like, I abandoned the project for many weeks.  Just getting back to it now.  This is one of the larger compositions.

This has a wonderful atmosphere to it. A rising mist over a lake is one of the best spectacles in the natural world and you've captured the scene nicely. I like how the sharp reeds contrast with the soft distant scene. The composition feels heavy to the right, particularly the log, but I don't see good crops. The distant sunshine adds a nice touch of warmth to the image. Good work.

There is a most appealing natural feel to your image for me. I especially like the warming sunlight in the distance complementing the overall icy atmosphere. The choice of the panorama format fits in well with the scene and makes for a nice balance in my opinion.

Very nice mood here, Wayne. I like how the blues surround the warm colors on the mountain. The large version is really nice.

Great mood and beautiful image, Wayne. I might be tempted to back off the cyan just a bit, but real minor stuff. Real nice work.

Beautiful stitch - One large print you can make with this!  The frost is wonderful and the mist over the lake.  I would agree with Harley about the cyans - more to the yellows or maybe desat. a little

You captured a wonderful mood here with the mist and light, Wayne. I would say that you succeeded with your endeavor. When opening the large version the details in the grasses only enhanced the mood. I bet this would make a lovely print to hang on the wall. I too agree with dialing back the cyan just a touch. Great work on this.

Really nice, chilly feel to this.  You can just feel that cold mist getting into your bones.
It feels a bit too cyan-ish to me, but that might be just me, as I seem to have a hard time getting the right balance in my images.  I know that it really does have a cyan cast in real life, but boy it's hard to get it right, for me anyway....
I like that bright spot of leaves in the trees; it adds some warmth to it.

This is simply outstanding. The rising mist and the low clouds add drama to an already very interesting composition.

Really love this one Wayne.
