Snowy Impressions + alt

As probably most of you, I am a winter/snow/ice lover and when I am out in the nature during a snowfall I feel so many positive emotions that I can barely sit still like I was a child. Yesterday with my dog I spent the morning in the snow and wind (very rare where I live). In this image I tried to combine those feelings with shapes and colors.
Your comments and thoughts are always highly appreciated.

Wow, this has a lovely abstract and painterly quality to it, Mattia. I hope you were able to get some additional comps.

I like the colors and tree limbs coming through the falling flakes of snow.  A possible thought would be a tiny crop off the bottom to remove the darker spots along the bottom edge, leaving a lighter image in my mind.

That must have been quite a snowstorm. I like the impressionistic look to this image. The high exposure and low contrast allows the colors and faint shapes to come out more subtly. It works for me.

This is wonderful, Mattia. Indeed, very impressionistic. SS works well with just the right amount of movement in the flakes. Processing looks good.

Mattia, I've looked at this several times and it gets better each time. This has a wonderful impressionist look. The central tree serves well to ground it back to a sense of reality, and the nicely distributed snow accentuates the impressionism. My only suggestion would be to frame downward a bit to bring the yellows up in the frame. I think the ghostly trunks near the bottom are nice components. Fine work and something to be proud of.

I really enjoy looking at this!  What a wonderful example of Nature creating works of art -- and of an artist recognizing it and skillfully capturing it.  (Our world news on TV today has shown us some nice images of the recent snow in Rome, but nothing as beautiful as this.)  The colors and forms show through the falling snow just enough to be recognizable, instead of being totally abstract.  My only wish would be to see more toward the bottom, so the yellow bush on the left appeared as complete as the one on the right.  If that's not possible, I will be very happy looking at this composition!

Crazy and great looking painterly abstract. Impressionist is it. It is beautiful and I like it a lot. No suggestions here. Great stuff.

The image almost looks like it was taken through a wet window with lots of rain droplets on it.  The color scheme very nice.  I'm wondering if slower shutter speeds would have made the snow more streaking and the trees more discernable?  Nice work here.

WONDERFUL.  I glanced at the comments from others and I can't really add anything different.  I love abstracts and this is so well done.  Congratulations for a beautiful images.

Very cool.  Think you could probably push the white point a bit more here but really enjoy what you were going for.  Love these scenes.'

Thank you for your feedbacks and suggestions. Here it is an alternative version with a slower shutter speed. I have been uncertain between the two versions but then I decided for the more abstract one.

It will be interesting to see how people respond to this, but I prefer the slower SS. I like it because the tree shapes are more visible, particularly the green one. Although it's less apparent that we are looking at a snowstorm.
