I took this shot about 6 years ago I think, so not even sure of the camera used, nor the settings.  Just liked the results, and someone was looking at it today on my website and mentioned that they really liked it.  So, I thought I would submit it for this week's challenge.

Great idea, vision, composition and colors. I just wish for a little more dof on the stem. It's so large in the image that I feel it should be sharper. Still a fine image.

Hi Shirley,

A little tighter with the focus and DOF  would be great, but the flags stand out nicely.  Pretty cool image nevertheless...............Jim

Shirley, this is cool, indeed. It's fascinating what water drops can do to emulate a fisheye lens.

I love this one Shirley. Great for the challenge this week. Amazing to get nice stars and stripes in each drop.

Great concept Shirley!  I agree about the need for more DOF but still well done.  You should repost this on the 4th of July.

VERY cool!  I don't mind the stem less sharp - that allows the sharp flags to be the center of attention.
Well-done!

Looks like a great 4th of July shot, Shirley.  enlightened  The flags showing so nicely through the drops stand out beautifully.  The strong red and green colors are quite eye catching.  This looks fine to me as presented.  I suspect that the only way to get much more dof in this would be to shoot a stack.
