Taken at the Dallas rookery. This guy was coming in for a landing, objecting to another egret that was infringing on his space.  Processed with Lightroom, Photoshop and Lightzone. Comments and critiques welcome.

Really nice job processing the whites Jerry. Love the implied action and the details are very sharp.

Good capture, Jerry, and nice look at what appears to be breeding plumage. I assume this is a Great Egret?

Steve Thompson and I definitely had the same thought when we looked at this image.  Really superb job in processing the white plumage.  Wonderful detail and I love the pose.

Great job with the whites Jerry, especially the fluffed head and neck. Cool pose coming in for the landing.  I really like the bit of color on both ends, chartreuse on the eye and tanned tailfeathers.
