One Hop Osprey

This Osprey couldn't quite decide whether to take it's leave, or to stick it out on it's commanding perch above Bolsa Chica Preserve a few weeks back. It decided to stick around for a bit and even settled in a bit while the crowd of photogs gathered beneath. Canon 60D, f5.6, 1/8000 sec, iso 250, -1 EV, 100-400 ISLii at 400 mm, Thanks for your C & C's.

Cool behavioral pose. I like the intent look on its face. Looks like you had rather harsh light conditions as the image seems a tiny bit noisy for iso 250 or this may be a large crop.
