Marbled Godwit

This guy was doing its usual thing on the shore and came up with nothing but a muddy disappointment. Not very sharp but to me it was an interesting change from something more palatable. Full frame cropped from LHS.

I love the action here!  In addition to the nice light, angle, background and composition, the "muddy disappointment" tells us a lot about this bird.  Well done.

Very pleasing light and behavior.  I like the composition.  The image quality does suffer a slight bit due to that 2X extender.

I don't know what it is, but it makes an interesting element in the image, Bill.  Nicely caught.

Looks good to me! Plenty sharp enough for ID, and I like the action.
