Finally had a bird to perch on my limb that I have set up in my yard outside my window for them to wait their turn for the feeder.  Taken through the window with my Canon 5D Mark III, Canon 300 mm L 2.8 lens, mounted on tripod and gimbal head.  Settings are f3.5, 1/750, ISO 200.  Cropped to around 80%.  Comments and suggestions welcome.

Definitely needs to be seen large! Good detail, almost duotone color. Decent picture.

Nice perch and background.  Good detail.  I could see this cropped a little tighter as well.

Nice detail in the Dove Shirley. I agree that it could be cropped a little tighter but I really like the color palette you have.

A very nice perch with lots of character, Shirley.  You have excellent detail in the dove, and I love the earth tone palette.  If you're hoping for smaller birds, you might want to put up a smaller perch closer to the house for them so you can get them a reasonable size in the frame.

Colors are fantastic especially the background which makes the bird pop wonderfully.  Good detail.  The large image needs to be seen.

The large version is well worth viewing here Shirley, I like how the colors work together and the way you composed this with the branch working it's way through the frame. devil
