Mohawk Man

Spring is making some of my birds go crazy.   Mohawk man (warrior or Romeo?) was acting like he had "ants in his pants"frown
I was lucky to get any of him in focus.  He and, a few days ago, a tufted titmouse were acting nuts...tail in the air, upright spread crest, and erratically jumping from branch to branch.  Could not find the object of their obsession in either case.  Guess it's just Spring Fever!

Handheld while laughing! sad

Nice pose and crest. Pretty soft, though...
At least you HAVE cardinals!  I'm bummed they are in the East, Florida, Texas, Hawaii, AZ, but none in OR or CA.  Ratz!

The blur in this case seems to tell of motion, Lucy.  I love the intense red against the green and the energetic pose.

Beautiful shot Lucy.  Great comp and colors.  Even with the tail out of focus, this works for me.  Keep up the good work!

Your story is what really makes this great.  Yes, he is a bit soft, but your story explains why, and it does look like he is bouncing all over the place!  Cool!
