House finches appear to be very sensitive to eye problems and foot growths.  Here is a beautiful male with huge growths on his feet.  I keep my feeders clean, but the disease must be very easy to transmit.  I wonder, if the foot tumors are making him grumpy.

Lucy, to me, birds always look grumpy.  (Maybe that just me projecting...)  The details in the bird show very well and it's a beatiful background.  The foot tumors do look nasty.

Nice, Lucy.  Foot diseases of one sort or another do seem to be very common in the finches.  An interesting pose.
