Great scene, I like the effect you've achieved on the surface of the water. The panorama of rock behind the island looks nice and sharp, too. Good use of the letterbox format. You've gone for a pretty high key conversion, which kinda makes the island blend into the background a little too much for me. If you could increase the contrast between the two, it would make the island stand out more. There's something dark on the left side of the water which is slightly distracting too.

This is really interesting to me personally because I took virtually the same image from that trail. I didn't post it because I noticed that my trees are all leaning to the right. But when I look at this image I see the same thing - the trees on the island are leaning to the right. So maybe they are leaning to the right in reality? After you posted this image I went back and rotated the canvas to 'straighten' out the trees and now everything looks wrong. So we're left with the fact that all the trees grew at an angle?
The larger view brings out the tonal sharpness in this image, which is much of it's beauty. One of the great attractions of this place, which you've caught nicely here, is how soft breezes blow across the surface creating and smooth and ruffled patterns. They're a joy to watch.

This makes a nice pano image and the B&W works well.

I like the pano crop of this image and I think the B&W works very well.
