I really like the pose, comp, and background, Sandy. It would be nice to have a bit more light on the eye. The bird is a Rough-legged Hawk.

Excellent catch, Sandy. This one happened so suddenly that even though we had a fair amount of time, I never managed to get the light on the correct side of the bird. This came out very well. I particularly like the touches of cloud along the bottom.

A beautiful hawk, and captured so well in flight, Sandy. I agree with Brian, but that would be the only thing I would change. In flight shots are not easy, and you nailed it.

Sandy, it's a nice flight capture of a lovely bird. I'm curious about the shadow in the upper left. Was the sky transitioning to a dark tone, or is something else going on? It almost looks like there's an obstruction or strange vignetting going on.

Max, natural blue/yellowish skies graded a little in post-processing, for interest.
