Saguaro cactus in Tucson.  Taken with an I-phone and processed in LR and PS.

Comments and suggestions are appreciated.

I like the "in-your-face" symmetry of this shot.  The lined up starbursts of cactus spines is very effective.  I would be tempted to darken this shot a bit and perhaps boost the contrast.

Lots to like for its graphic and abstract appeal, Allen. The subtle primary colors work well for the theme.

Beautiful pastel colors and much detail to enjoy in the large image. Great photo.

Allen: The larger version is a must see. I love the subtle colors and of course the sharpnessangel of the spines. Well done.>=))>

Allen, the repeated symmetry here is great.  The subtle color changes and the differences between the spine clusters keep things interesting.  With a bit of "touch up" along the left edge, this would make a fine wall hanger.  Views like this reinforce what I say in beginning photo workshops, "It's not the equipment, it's the photographer know how to make the most of the what the equipment offers."
