Mountain Chippy

This rather puffy Chipping Sparrow is the first one I have seen this high in the mountains. Taken at our cabin @ 8700 Ft elev. I know the light is a bit harsh, but that is the price I frequently have to pay for living in sunny Colorado!

Nice detail and I like the pose, Skip. I'd be tempted to add some canvas on the left to give it a bit more room.

A bit centered, but a very good shot. I suspect the bird is in migration and just passing through your area, following a mountain ridge.
