Haven't been for a photo shoot for a few weeks now, so may be the dragonfly visited my house to check... ;-)

Light from the city light which has a strong Yellow.

Do let me know if this has to move to "Man and Nature" as the light is from an artificial source

Hi Balan,

Tough exposure and I'd leave it in macro. Leave this one as presented and treat it as more of an artistic piece.  The dragonfly looks fine and the yellow light provides some strong warmth to the image.........................Jim

The orange wings are very intriguing, Balan.  The sharpness and lack of color in the head and abdomen create a spooky feeling.  An interesting catch, that has me wondering about follow up shots (when you may never get the opportunity again...).  I wonder about cropping out some of the wings on the right, say to a 4x5 shape to emphasize the df's body with a fine backing glow....just thinking out loud.

I will echo Jim's comments. For ISO 25,600, this is pretty good as an art piece. I also wonder how this would do converted to B/W?
