Hydrangea is one of the flowers I have never had much luck in photographing. I like this for the good color and dimensional aspect in composing that you achieved. Your DOF is spot on for conveying the detail of the flower head. I don't know if it is my monitor, but this looks like it could afford to brighten up a bit.
