Monarda punctata
A member of the mint family. Also known as Horsemint. It grows wild from NE Canada down through the Atlantic Gulf Coastal plain over to Texas and New Mexico. It is generally a plant of meadows and prairies on sandy upland soils. It is well liked by honey bees and bumblebees.

Phil, I saw some of this in a pollinator garden yesterday during a local wildlife celebration and my first thought was that they had mislabeled the plant.  Hard to see this a part of the Monarda family. cool  The pink leaves and colored flowers stand out very well here.  The local versions weren't in nearly this good condition.  This view makes it look much more attractive as a garden addition.
