Hi everyone, I'm just back from a month of scouting and leading tours in Ecuador along with fellow NPN'er Chuck Gangas. This Scarlet-crowned Barbet photographed at the feeding station at Sani Lodge in the Ecuadorian Amazon was one of our highlights.

Barbets are so great, this shot is nothing short of excellent. The colors of the perch match the bird extremely well. Love it ! Cheers, Hans
