Wilson's Warbler
by Dennis Plank
One from the same session as the Nuthatch, two days ago. I had some trouble coming up with a composition I liked on this one with the angle of the bird to the perch, but I think this one works. I'd be interested in your opinions.
7Dii, Sigma 150-600 C @ 600 mm, tripod with ball head and Sidekick, f/8, 1/160, iso 2000, aperture priority, pattern metering, -1 EV. Processed in LR & PS CC. Cropped to a 10.6 MP 4x5. Taken at 8:43 am under cloudy skies on our one day respite from the smoke.
Your comments and suggestions are appreciated.
Thanks,

8 commentsYou have a nice portrait. I like the comp and you were able to isolate the bird from the BG. Well done...................Jim
