Once a year the windmills at Kinderdijk, The Netherlands, are floodlit.

I really like this, Marsel. You captured it at the right time of twilight to still have the nice color in the sky. A minor nit is the light (building?) between the first and second windmill. I find that a little distracting but still a lovely shot.

Marsel, I would expect to see many pleasant comments on this photo. Windmills are abjects that have always been favorites. I am led into the distance by your excellent composition. Confratulations!

Just wonderful! Say, when are you going to get that website up and running? Every time I see one of your photos, I try to check out your site--and I'm very intrigued by the 'under construction' page!

Brian - I'm working really hard on it, but it's going to be something entirely different than the under construction page. I've chosen a simpler name and a new complex design. As a result, I won't be able to make it myself. Next week I have a meeting with a professional web agency and I hope to have the site up and running in may or june. I have removed the link to the under construction page to prevent further disappointments.

Marsel,
Excellent, as I expect from you! The warm lights against the cool tones of twilight are lovely.

Great effect Marsel and I love to see images of the country where half of my family live. I visited this year and loved it. I think there's great potential in the Netherlands for landscape photography. This one is very still and peaceful which is enhanced by the indigo colour.
