Cairngorm Caramel
by Ian Cameron
A long lens version of an earlier shot, you get more mountains but less of that delicious sky. Once again it is shot in winter and their is a thick coating of hoar frost on the birch trees at the perimeter of the frosted stubble field. The light was almost caramel coloured at the extreme ends of the day and contrasts quite beautifully with the blue tinged snow dusted mountains of the Cairngorms near Aviemore Scotland. Same set up as previous shot but with a 200mm lens on a Pentax 67II and Velvia.

Beautiful capture of a lovely scene in wonderful light!
There's just so much detail that carries you through the image. The light, as always, is wonderful. Congrats on the EP!
The light you capture is always magical. I love it here! Delicious!
