Wow - that's got some pretty terrific mood. Spooky and ethereal. It looks a bit more like smoke than mist, but it adds to the feeling.

Perfect placement of the sun. This is an incredible shot Jim.

One of the best, moody sunsets have seen recently. Sweet.

Yee-ow! Fantastic! The trees look like they are huddled together whispering some dastardly plan. What a mood this creates. This is really great.

John,

I didn't do anything that fancy. I just cropped a little off the bottom and adjusted levels and saturation. Then I resized for web and sharpened using PS USM on the entire image. The Fog, sun and trees did the rest.

Jim,

This is fabulous. It reminds me of a quote from Alan Watts: "Cloud Hidden. Whereabouts unknown."

Well done!

My skills at critiques have yet to be honed. All I can say is visually this leaps out at me, I find it a stunning composition, the colours and intensity of the sun draw me in. An excellent piece of work, something I can only aspire to achieve. Simon
