I have these growing on several arbors in my backyard. This vine will bloom from late spring to fall. They also attract a wide variety of insects and hummingbirds love to sip nectar from them.

A very pleasing composition. The dark BG works so well within this shot, it really helps to make the subject pop. Excellent work and very enjoyable to view

Best regards

The dark BG really does set these off.The lighting is wonderfully warm.Man the air is still in Louisiana.I've taken shots of these that would never stay still!

Nice shot!

How far back is the bg from your subject? The more I see of ambient light photography, the less thrilled I get about flash photography. The colors are subtle and quite pleasing.

As Always,

The lighting has produced great modelling and the combination of red and green creates a very colourful and eye-catching image.Like it a lot. :toast:

Answer to Jim's question: How far back is the bg from your subject?
The background was a shaded area of grass about 15' behind the flowers.
