It was 12 F. this morning but worth the cold wait in a blind! Canon EOS-1D Mark II N, 500mm, 1/2000, f6.3, ISO 400.

This is a terrific behavioral image, Doug. I especially like the composition and you get "kudos" for getting both birds sharp! :smile:

Beautiful image, Doug. No nits from me. I'm jealous, I was set to do the Prairie Chickens on the Ft Pierre Grasslands tomorrow and Tues. but they didn't get the blinds in due to the rain/mud, etc. I'll be trying again in May. I hope I can get something half so good.

I also spent sometime on the lek Friday but my camera was froze with the 5 F we had here. I kept getting err 99 and no image. I hope the Mark III is better in cold weather!!! I'll just have to try agian this Friday. I really want to get them in the snow.
