Hi All,

I shot this image 2-weeks or so ago at Ft. De Soto Park, Florida. I had just finished an Avian shoot and saw these clouds building so I swapped my 400mm for my 12~24 zoom. Taken around 40 minutes after sunset.

Wow, this is fantastic. Was that lightning luck, fast reflexes, or a little of both? Either way, it's quite a spectacle.

This is something Jose ... I love those clouds swinging through the sky, anchoring those massive thunderbolts into the earth ... well seen and timed.

I really like how the sky is seemingly divided into two with the bolts in the center. It's as if two opposing forces are clashing creating the energy to trigger the lightening. Well done!

What amazing light and that cloud formation sweeping down to the lightning could not be any more dramatic, Excellent Image, I would not be surprised to see this get an EP

This just became one of my favourite thunderstorm images. The sky is an awesome spectacle in itself and the lightning is just icing on the cake. It was also nice to have this occur over water to get that reflective glow.
