I have a few more gerbera shots that I like, I hope you are all not getting tired of them. I have not had a lot of time lately to shoot, so I am posting these. I hope you all do not mind.

Any and all thougths appreciated.

Nathan

Nikon D80, Sigma 180 macro, tripod, ISO 200, f11, clamplights, some RAW adjustments for WB and exposure, some petal blemishes cloned out

Like this best of all so far, Nathan - fascinating how the beautiful soft curves give the feel of the flower in something so abstract

Nathan,

I like this very much. I particularly like the textural detail in the petals, the lighting and the sweep of the curves in the image. Very nice.

Nathan: You have perfected the art of working a subject. This is just outstanding. The color and flow of the lines is pure eye candy. Perhaps my favorite of the bunch so far. >=))>

The smooth texture and the sweeping lines really convey beauty to the viewer. I very much enjoy your vision; it has a sweet energy to it.

Well, because you have all that time, I would suggest that you remove every single blemish or speck. This is very beautiful, but I see six flaws, some digital some probably real, that I would love to see fixed.

All that aside, the lines and the lighting are so beautiful that you should make a few large prints of this and sell them. You handled those pesky corners very well. I tried shooting cut flowers for a while, but I just couldn't get this sort of harmony in my shots.

This may seem like a weird word to use, but I find this image very tactile. I just want to reach through the screen and feel it. Thanks for sharing an excellent image, Nathan. :toast: :toast: :toast:

Hats off to you Nathan! Great job working this subject and getting so many quality shots. I think this is the best of the series so far and it has such graceful flow and natural beauty that I'd like to see the (naturally occurring) small spots cloned out to make this perfect! Great series Nathan! :toast:
