Very nice catch! The light, the reflection, the attitude, the square composition: fine!

Beautiful pose, light and reflection.

I am wondering what efforts are being made now to control the invasive American mink populations. (Strange that this should be a problem in the case of an animal with valuable fur.)

Hi to all,

Firstly , although very similar this is not the image some are thinking of , that particular image was shot by Danny Green and was a very deserved winner in the Shell Wildlife Photographer of the Year.

Secondly , thanks for the nice comments.

Kind regards

Hi Andy, excellent, no other words, you can turn it upside-down almost without any difference.

Great shot. I love the clean reflection and detail and you balanced what looks like difficult light very well. I'd love to have this one in my collection.

Perfect angle, good catch-light (even in the reflection), perfectly still water, perfect pose, good focus on the eyes and nose = perfect picture. Good Job!

Ha ha, a lovely shot. Initially, I thought that there were four rocks. Now that I looked at it closer, there are only three. Thanks for sharing.
