My rehab is going very well. My physical therapist is graduating me to walking with a cane so I used my $2500+ walking stick (Camera, lens and tripod) to nose around in the garden this morning. I'm prohibited from kneeling so I limited most of my shooting to this giant calla. Its been really windy the past couple of days, thus the high ISO to squeeze out a little shutter speed. All comments welcome. >=))>

Glad to hear you're getting around Bill, I remember my rehab with my knee replacement...it just keeps getting better! Your Lily is very nice, I especially like the close perspective so that the detail really comes through. Such beautiful flowers, well done my friend, glad you're back into it. :toast: :toast: :toast:

Very good to see a shot from you again, Bill ! I especially like the way you have framed it with the top of the flower bleeding into the frame surround. A beautiful image.

Great image Bill, and I'm glad to hear you are mending well. I really like the lines in the white, the BG, and the detail on the spadix is really nice. Will be praying your recovery is swift and complete.

I like your choice of "canes" Bill!! Very clever!! Glad you're out and about. I like this shot but, for me, it's too tight. I do like the soft light and detail in the white. Windy, huh? Good job with that!!

It's good to hear you're back up and at it! You'll be like new before you know it. I really like the composition you have here. Beautiful texture, and I especially love how you captured the curve of the petal.

Glad to hear that all is progressing well Bill - keep on healing. the lack of mobility may not be a bad thing - it will force you to look ttl at a different perspective and see the garden a bit differently. Continue to use that to your advantage as you have demonstrated here.

One of the nicest Cally Lily shots I have seen. Very pleased to hear that the rehab is coming along nicely and hope that every day is an improvement.

Amazing ... even hobbled by your temporary setback your photographic mastery of flora comes shining through! Get well soon my friend! :wavey:

Glad you're up and about. Many a times the tripod has been utilized for uses not intended by the manufacturer, including canes. The Calla is one of the most elegant flowers and you have captured its stature and beauty here. Well done.

Bill,

So glad to hear you're doing well.

The image is beautiful. I particularly like the composition, the whites and the striations on the whites on the petals.

Take care.

Pat and Terri.
