Gerbera Rays - Flora Theme

I love gerbera daisies and can never get enough of them. I know that there are so many classic shots so I'll just add mine to the pot. When I shot this, I decided to have very little focus and instead concentrate on the "flow" of the petals from their stems.

Comments and suggestions are very welcomed and appreciated.

Completely delightful image, Beth. The choice of focus gives this a special something for me - and the colours are beautifully rendered.

A beautiful abstract Beth. I normally have trouble with soft images but this is exquisite. Beautiful work - pink and white flames.

Whispy, delicate flow... almost like hand-dyed silk fabric blowing in the wind. I like the comp, the colors, the flow, the whole concept and the final result.

Absolutely grand, Beth. Mission accomplished par none! The color is fantastic, and you're right, this just all flows together so sumptuously. Makes the word "hosannah" come to mind. :jump:

Nice shot and a good eye for composition! How often we miss the obvious because we don't look close enough.
