I have dabbled in photography and developing in the darkroom for over thirty years, first shooting with a Minolta 202 and ending with a Mamiya 645 medium format camera. I really became passionate about photography about five years ago when I purchased my first digital camera the Nikon D70. Since then, I tend to migrate towards nature photography in an attempt to capture the natural beauty of the Pacific Northwest. Today I shoot with a Nikon D700 camera with a complement of five lenses.Living in Lake Oswego, Oregon (just 8 miles south of Portland), I have access to the Columbia Gorge, the Oregon and Washington Cascades, the Oregon Coast, all in less than two hours in either direction. Needless to say, it is difficult to run out of beautiful subjects to photograph.
