Keywords: wolf, wolves, WCC, Canis lupus
These two wolves were photographed at the Wolf Conservation center. Apache, the alpha male, was sitting by the pond while Lukas walked by. Taken, handheld, with a Canon 20D and a Canon IS 28-300mm lens (@180mm). AV mode 1/500 sec, f5.6 -1/3 exposure compensation. Seeing these wolves up close and watching them interact was absolutely fascinating!
