This Great Egret was taken at the South beach at Fort DeSoto in Florida this past January. It was taken, on a tripod, with a Canon 20D and a 500mm f4 IS Canon lens. 1/640 sec f4, AV mode, -2/3 exposure compensation. I just love the angle and curve of his neck!
