Across the Fence

I wanted to test my lens that was just in after some repair work. I decided to go up the Mont-Royal mountain and try some shots in the cemetery - a particular composition I had thought about for some time. However I missed the citybus, and eventually had to trek up the mountain. I managed to make it to the top of the mountain within fifteen minutes or so, but sundown was imminent. I decided to abort the cemetery plan, and instead investigate the backyard of a Montreal Police office where the horses are stabled.

Overlooking the Mont Royal Cemetery, across the fence was this beautiful sun with it's radiance glowing off the few meters of snow that had accumulated. The spot did smell like horse manure, but was the scene beautiful!
