Boy Ponders Lake

Photo taken at Green Lake Park, Seattle, WA. I did not see the boy or other distant distractions when I took the photo. What originally attracted me was the composition of trees around the lake and the reflections. At home, on the computer, Wow! I found the boy, and decided to make him a more prominent feature. Being near-sighted can lead to all kinds of surprises.

D200 and 24-120G VR @ 120mm; handheld, f5.6 @ 1/10 aperture priority, ISO 800.

Post-processing in P'shop CS included cloning out distracting elements of foot path and person standing behind boy. Local sharpening and hue/sat adj to highlight boy and change color of shirt.
