A particularly foggy December day, I walked down to the shore of Lake Monroe and the St. John's River in downtown Sanford to take some shots of the cormorants at their favorite perch this time of the year. The fog was intensely thick and played hell with my camera, but I'm rather fond of what became of this photograph. The only adjustment really made to this shot was in drawing up a bit more contrast. The sharpness of the focus suffered for the exposure, but the softness somewhat matches the ambience of the fog. In a way. Sort of. Kinda.
