Foggy Dock

A shot of the old, abandoned dock on the edge of Lake Monroe and the St. John's River in Sanford, right where I live. I honestly don't know what category to place this under, as the ruins of the old dock are my primary subject. "Buildings" seemed 'most' appropriate? If you have advice as to a better category, please let me know!

I love these old docks. The cormorants, herons, egrets, and osprey love them even more. In this shot, though you can't really tell it too clearly, the cormorants are sitting on the far two posts.

This shot was adjusted a bit post-shooting. I dulled and rusted out the hue a bit and then enhanced some blur around the edges. But it was actually that foggy.

I took this photograph on December 3rd, but it does have a nice, foggy "Merry Christmas" vibe for me.
