Coastal Decimation-1

Taken on a trip to Gulf Shores, one year after Katrina and two years after Ivan, the shoreline devastation was still indescribable.
Oddly, the light of a full moon painted, in magnificent detail, the true bleakness of the (de)forestation. This photograph, and its companions are a testimony to how gray what should be green appears even years after such and event.
This photograph represents what was a forest of trees along the intercoastal shoreline, near the cabin I staid.
Nikon D70s, 180mm Focal Length, 30Sec Exposure, f/3.5. Full-moon natural lighting after midnight.
