Coastal Decimation -2

Trees, Shorelines & Beaches, Sunrise/Sunset
Keywords: Hurricane, Katrina, Ivan, Trees
Taken on a trip to Gulf Shores, one year after Katrina and two years after Ivan, the shoreline devastation was still undescribable.
Oddly, the light of a full moon painted, in magnificent detail, the true bleakness of the (de)forestation. This photograph, and it's companions are a testimony to how gray what should be green appears even years after such and event.
This Photograph shows the extensive clearing of trees for what seems to extend on and on.
Nikon D70s, 180mm Focal Length, 30Sec Exposure, f/3.5. Full-moon natural lighting after midnight.
