High Camp on Rainier

This image was taken many years ago on the Fourth of July on the northeast side of Mount Rainier during an unsuccessful climbing attempt. The climb was cancelled due to white-out conditions and snow in the early morning. By mid-morning, the clouds had dropped leaving our camp with fresh snow and sunshine. The slide was scanned and lightly worked in Photoshop in 2004.
