Gladiolus Frills (Best in Show Award)

I spend a lot of time kneeling or lying on the sidewalk with my lens(es) in my neighbors' flowers. I call it "Flower Patrol." Sometimes I'm in one position for so long, someone will run out thinking I'm hurt or dead or something! Then we have a good laugh when I explain and show the camera. I think Ms. Gladiolus deserves "Best in Show" instead of me. She was a beauty!

D200, 105/2.8 macro on tripod with timed shutter release.
Painted the left lower corner with pink, as there was a green area I could not keep out of my comp in the field.
