The Cape Meares lighthouse has the distinction of being the shortest lighthouse on the Oregon Coast at 38 feet tall, although its light is 217 feet above the waves below. Cape Meares light is now inactive and is located in the Cape Meares State Park, along the Three Capes Loop road about seven miles from Tillamook, Oregon.
