I just had my first chance to visit NPN in a month today, and was much inspired by all the images I viewed, even on a crappy laptop! Thanks!
It's been an incredible trip up here in the North Rockies - as many of you know, my favorite of mountain regions. This has been easily my best trip here for photographs. Just absolutely wonderful.
I've been so busy, but I hope to be back and posting sometime in early November.
I've backpacked hundreds of miles (and driven more than I can keep track of) in the last several weeks and am starting out on another long trek tomorrow in the snow to visit the Tonquin Valley again (among other places), up near Jasper. It's really starting to snow a bunch up here (time for the snowshoes!), and the clearings between storms have been stunning - so much more luck with that than I had during my 2+ months in '06.
I can't wait to get to a point where I'm caught up enough to start processing and get in touch with the community here again. Again, I greatly enjoyed visiting today and ended up spending way to much time over on ESS looking through all the beauty captured this season!
Best,
Marc

Marc, glad to hear things are going so well for you. Nothing like a string of successes to keep a smile on a photographer's face and a positive attitude inside.
We're looking forward to seeing what you've gotten once you're home and caught up. Meanwhile, congrats on the good ones so far, and good luck with the rest!

I wish I had your drive and talent Marc....actually, even half of it would be stunning. Looking forward to seeing some fantastic stuff!!!
Oh man, I'm always waiting patiently for your posts after your trips and now I'm REALLY psyched for you to get back. Your trip to the Rockies in '06 brought back some of my all time favorite images, and it's crazy to believe you're having even BETTER luck this year!

Marc, you're making me jealous. I was supposed to be out in the Banff/Icefields Parkway/Jasper area this week but plans got changed.

Exciting news Marc, I know I can't wait to see the new images, as you always provide unbelievable views of our natural landscape. More importantly though, I'm glad to hear you are safe and well during your journeys.
Best of luck and light in the final days of shooting this trip!
