I've been trying to find, without much success, whether some of the functions that were in CS3 Extended have been moved 'down' into the standard version of CS4. At one point I'd read somewhere, forget where, that Image Stacks were now part of the standard version and that the enhanced HDR editing tools might also be a part of the standard version. Adobe's website doesn't seem to have information on that, that I've found. A web search seems to indicate Image Stacks may still only be available in the Extended version.

Anyone know for sure?

Thanks.

As far as I was aware the difference between CS4 and CS4 Extended is the additional section that is used for medical purposes

For sure—Only in extended. At least not in my CS4 version, other than the merge to HDR.
