I am going to have several 11x14 prints made of my work and I would like to know what steps to take to make them the best they can be. I know about preparation for the web, but I know that prints take a different approach. Any input or tips would be very helpful. the pics are from a Canon 30D and will processed in PS Elements. thanks very much!

Will you be printing them yourself or sending to a service provider?

I will be sending them to Adorama.

Make sure that the color space is set to sRGB for prints sent to Adorama.
Not sure which version of PSE you have, but 'Color Management Answers for PS Elements' may help you there.

Yep, John hit it. The good online printers will have instructions to be followed for how they want to receive image files (colour space, bit depth, file type). Follow those and you should be good to go.

With the improved colour management capabilities of PSE you can do almost as much as you can in the full version of PS now.
