The problem was getting close enough to photograph various dabbling ducks. I took this shot of a Tufted Duck from a precarious perch on a very narrow access quay. I like the bird’s jaunty, optimistic look.

Excellent detail, David, especially for such a large crop. The exposure of the blacks and whites is superb.

Very perky looking duck David. The water is gorgeous, but the duck seems a little centered in the frame for me. Love that eye.
