Amazing underwater formations of sand. Took this shot in spring this year just after dawn. The picture is from Swedens largest lake - Vänern. Just 15 min drive from my home.

I like this very much. The composition is excellent, the subject is interesting and the sky has just enough color to make it perfect. Very well done! :toast: :toast:

Fantastic comp, great light and amazing textures in the foreground. This is really a nice image throughout. I like even more with a little less on top, unless of course it's going to be the cover of a magazine

Excellent work, Christer! This is beautiful. I think a crop from the top works well too.

This is a great image simple but also dynamic. The foreground and background create just enough tension, the counterpoint of the island in the upper right helps with this. It is very apparent that you carefully thought about this composition and everything is exactly where you wanted it to be. This is just an observation not that I would recommend you change the image. With your hand cover up the majority of the sky starting just above the cloud. The blue is so powerful and saturated, it overwhelms the subtle yellows in the foreground. By covering up the blue more of the subtle relationships of the colors in the foreground will become more apparent. Almost every well-thought-out photograph has more than one interpretation. And the one you picked I think is the best

Great textures in that sand! Good eye to see and capture that. I would also crop a lot off of the sky. It doesn't really add that much except a complimentary color to the browns.

The thumb certainly doesn't do this one justice. Amazing how the underwater sand is so vivid. Neat what water and sand can do together.

Wow - the water and sand is amazing and they lead through the scene nicely. if it were mine - i might crop to a 4x5 ratio and eliminate some of the sky. excellent shot either way.

I really like the fg here with all the interesting textures. In fact, I like the fact that the bg is rather simple as it's not competing with the rest of the scene. Simple, but very compelling. Great image, Christer!
